Attract new customers to your website with these creative methods

Trying to get traffic to your website is harder than ever.

With more and more content to compete with, it can often feel like there is no one method that can get people to come to your site.

And really, there is no!

But there is a combined approach that you can take, each with its own creative talent that is sure to get you attention.

Here, I will take you through several ways you can try to attract new customers to your website. Some may have heard of them, and some are a little more ‘creative’ for initial businesses trying to win a foot -market.

Key takeaways

  • Make it more easy to use: Make sure your site is fast loading, easily navigates, and provides a pleasant user experience, optimizing for user satisfaction and search engine sites.
  • Build a lead magnet: Offering high quality content such as e-books or unique guidelines to attract visitors to your website, which also helps collect their email addresses for future engagement.
  • Chat with competitors’ audiences: Engage with individuals who interact with your competitors by contacting them on social media, encouraging them to explore what your brand has to offer.
  • Build your e -mail list: Develop your e -mail list by offering unique discounts and unique content to subscribers, making it an attractive offer despite the common reluctance to provide personal information.

As you already know, attracting customers to your site is essential. After all, how else are they going to go through the amazing buy funnel you’ve created?

With that in mind, here are four different ways to do just that.

Make it more easy to use

First, you need to make your website as easy to use as possible. That may sound obvious, but you would be amazed at how many websites I see are loading too slowly, which have pages that contain broken links, and are not well optimized for users.

Some marketing experts will tell you that you need to optimize for Google, but in fact, you need to optimize for your users.

For starters, not all your traffic will come from Google, so your website needs to be set up to cater for users who find you from other routes.

Second, optimization for users is optimized for Google! Certainly, Google appreciates some keywords in specific places, but its main indicators are the user experience, such as time spent on the website, users clicking on other pages of your home page, etc.

So the first thing you should do is a complete check of your site, from your customer’s shoes. Click through from an ad, imagine you are trying to learn more or buy, and make a note of the experience.

Build your e -mail list

Another way to make sure more people visit your site is to build your e -mail list. That way, you can contact people when new content is to be used, new products launched, or offer upcoming periods.

However, people are not going to register on your email list because you tell them about. After all, many people are born with e -eyewear every day, so adding another e -mail sender to their list does not become easy.

People are reluctant to share with this information unless they have to do so, and for good reason.

However, that does not mean that it is impossible to get them to do so. Take advantage of offering unique customer discounts and incentives, such as 15% off your first order or ongoing offers specific to email users.

You could also create a waiting list before a product launches, offering unique insights, behind the scenes, and updates that other non-email customers will not receive. This tactic has been extremely successful for other startup entrepreneurs, such as Alicia Scott, who went on to turn her business into a billion-doler venture.

Build a lead magnet

Another way to motivate website traffic is to give something away for free. It could be a digital e -book, a unique guide, or even a detailed study. Whatever it is, it needs to be your top quality content, because you can then blast it all over your different platforms and advertising channels, pushing people to get something for free.

This action will also ensure that you get more email addresses on your list, which will help with the point above, so it’s win-win!

But let’s go back to my point for the quality of content for a moment. When creating free content, it’s tempting to rush or get something out there. Of course, something is better than nothing, but your lead magnet actually should be your best work.

Put yourself into your potential customer shoes. They do not expect it to be as good as it is free, so if you are casting their socks with an amazingly useful resource, imagine how high they will appreciate your product or service.

‘If this company gives me this for free, imagine what their paid product/service is!’

Chatting with competitors’ audiences

Finally, don’t be afraid to be a little creative with your competitor’s audiences. Of course, you can get a lot of insight into tracking your competition and see how they earn traffic and attention, but there’s another tactic you can use as well.

Look at who engages your competition, make a list, and start interacting with them directly, likely through social media. This will help get your brand name out and also motivate your target audience to learn more about what you have to offer.

These are the people you want to visit your website, so why not go to them instead? If your product is from service to their liking, they will certainly follow you back to your website from there.
